Cupcakes for Mia's birthday

I made two dozens of cupcakes and learned frosting tricks from Youtube. mia helped with frosting too. She is taking these eggless chocolate cupcakes to school tomorrow. I am starting to do more projects with her now that she is bigger.

I steamedvsome organic baby carrots and blended them into mash. Kenzie liked it. She had almost one fourth bottle today.

Happy Chinese New Year

January 30 was the Chinese New Year's Eve. It was the first for Kenzie. We went out for celebration at a local Chinese restaurant.

Best time to have hot pot is after the snow. It is mia's first hot pot. She ate a lot.

Kenzie's First Solid

Kenzie had rice porridge today. She was eager to taste it even though she didn't know how to close her mouth around the spoon yet.

Fall

Kenzie fell from my bed today. There is no obvious bruises or bumps so wr need to watch for closely to see if there is any concussion symptoms. I feel terribleof leaving her unattended. I hope  i didn't damage my baby girl.

Kenzie 6 month

Kenzie is 27 3/4inches and 17lbs 11.5oz. Height is at 98% and weight at 78%. Mia was 27 and 17 lb3.5. I was surprised that Kenken was bigger than Mia since Mia was much chubbier in pictures. I am very please d.

Bounce

Kenzie got into the jumperoo today. She checked everything out and had some bouncing fun.

It is snowing today. We stayed indoor and made sugar cookies from scratch. Mia used the cookie cutter and stencils I got her for Christmas. We had a good time.

Recovery

Mia came home with a cold ywo Saturdays ago and it evolved into cough anf fever. Mike got a fever and Kenzie too. This week Kenzie was diagnosed to have an ear infection and was put on antibiotics. She has never been this sick since birth. She was coughing all day in teary glassy eyes and whimpered all day long... i co slept with her to take care of her. For a few nights she could not lay flat. I was mortified. Now that antibiotic is working its way, she's gotten a lot better. I was able to relax a bit this weekend. I just hope she would build her immune system better. When she goes to daycare, she will be less susceptible to germs.

We speny almost all day in bed today. Kenzie woke me up at 10:20. She got bored laying by my side. In the afternoon we napped till 4:30.  Last night we went to our usual NYE party at friend's. The kids played till almost 10:30. Too bad Kenzie fell asleep and was not in the picture.

Christmas Morning

Mia woke up early today asking if Santa has come. She was not into opening the presents under the tree because she recognized some of the wrapping paper. She thought they were for someone else. We got her to the sun room and unveiled the cover on the doll house. Then she got into the mood...

At gour and half months we finally got around to do footprints for Kenzie.today dad also brought home Mia's hand print xmas card. I feel sad that my babies are growing up so fast
