9 months At the park

Kenzie had her nine month well checkbon Friday. She is 28.5 inches tall (82%) and 19 lbs 2.5 oz (67%).

We went to the park on Saturday. She went down the slides  several  times and went on the swing in my carrier.

Mia has Kenzie in her Easter picture this year. The two sisters wore sister outfits. Kenzie is loved.

Roseola strike s again

Kenzie had a fever since last Friday. I took her in twice this week. Yesterday she broke out in rash. We suspect ed roseola and the pediatrician confirm ed it. Her fever was gone after the rash appeared. Today she is in better mood. In two days she lost almost one pound.

She is also able to stand holding onto something. She stood for a second on her own today and flopped to her buttocks today. I feel that in no time she will be walking.

Dinner Out

Today is almost 80 degrees. Spring is finally here.Kenzie sat on the high chair at the restaurant and had some of her first pita bread using her three little teeth.

Mia is becoming an expert in feeding Kenzie. kenzie is forever ready for her meal.

Eating Finger Food

Kenzie can pinch with her thumb and index finger now. She had her first finger food, rice crunch and yogurt cookies.

Kenzie had a visitor

Julee came to visit yesterday. Kenzie warmed up to her in no time. 

She is definitely more shy than Mia.

Crawling

Kenzie crawled today for a few steps. She's been on her knees rocking for days. Today she finally crawled to reach the music table. She also said "baba".

We took the girls to the grandparents' yesterday afternoon. We had dinner and Mia stayed over night. She did this for a few times and last night she woke up three times fraying for me. I hope they will still want her over. :)

Kenzie said mama today several times. I was very excited. Mia called baba first. It is a little competition. :)

She also went to Mia's music class today and stayed up the whole hour. She had great time bouncing on my knees.

Trying Pear

Having teeth helps. Mia was never able to enjoy finger food at this age.

I watched Kenzie while working at home today. She managee to scoot from the middle of the sunroom to Mia's kitchen and discovered the goodies basket. I didn't see how she did.

Kenzie's first haircut

Kenzie had her first haircut today to stimulate more growth. She has less hair than Mia to begin with so I hope thid will help. She was wide awake when we shaved her head. She was very cooperative.

Air and Space Museum

We went to the Dulles Air and Space Museum last Sunday. It is Kenzie's first museum trip.

Kenzie Sitting

Kenzie can sit up for a minute now. If i prop her up, she can sit longer without toppling down.

Kenken's Milestone

Kenzie has grown her first tooth at right middle bottom. This is so much earlier than Mia.

Happy Valentine's Day

I made the pom monsters as Valentine s for Mia's school mates. She has a party at school today.

Birthday Art Party

Mia went to Olivia's birthday art party on Sunday. Two parties in a row.

Happy Birthday Mia

Mia and i mixed the frosting color last night to make her purple cupcakes. It turned out to be great. Party went really well. We got 16 kids. The SPortd Bounce facility was nice. I didn't get a chance to take any facility pictures but the kids bounced for some great fun.
