Official Santa Picture

here is the official Santa picture from yesterday. Mia did well considering she was always crying in front of Santa ever since she was a baby. Kenzie on the other hand was quite content being on Santa's lap.

I started working this Monday and it has been a tough week, having to get up at 5 and leave by 6ish. Kenzie was doing ok. She's still having a cold and cough. She ate about 15 ozs while I was away during the day and did not nap quite as much since I usually napped with her. She's adjusting just like mama. My baby girl is quiet and a non complainer.

The more I look at them together, the more I don't regret giving Mia a sister.

We got our eight foot tree on Sunday. Today after dinner we started decorating. The girls will go to the mall for Santa pictures tomorrow. 

Kenzie 4 month well check

Kenzie had her well check yesterday. She was 26 3/8 inches tall and weighed at 16 lbs 6 ozs with onesie and diaper. It was below freezing point yesterday so the nurse kept her onesie. Even if i deduct four ozs for her clothes, she is still heavier than Mia at the same age. Mia was 15&5 at for months. Her % is 98 for height and 87 for weight. I did good!

She's grabbing well these days.

Great Falls Father Daughter Day

Mike took Mia to see the falls today. I bundled her up in her favorite color and stayef home with Kenzie. Looks like father amd daughter had a great time.

Turning Over

Kenzie turned over by herself today without any help. This is a milestone.

100 day party

Allergy Test

Mia had her allergy test today due to the lingering eczema over the course of almost three years. I was surprised to findout that ahe was allergic to egg. We were toldto stop all concentrated eggs and baked gooda for two montha to determine of egg was indeed the cause for her eczema. She also had her blood taken after.having thirty pricks at the allergist's. Sh3 was incredibly brave. She didn't cry during the allergy test and had her usual silent cry when she was unhappily surprised and in pain. Her tears were falling out of those big eyes as she turned to me sobbing and saying mama. My heart was in pain seeing her suffering...and i was so proud of her.

It runs in the family

Mike has played trumpet for years and showed Mia how to handle mouth piece. Mia went downstairs yesterday and got the trumpet out

 She wanted to show me how it should be done.

Smiley

Kenzie has been a smiley baby since few weeks old. Everyday when she opens her eyes, she smiles at me and it melts my heart.

Halloween Cats

This year we dressed up as cats. Mia went to a pre trick o treat party first. For a two and half year old, she was doing great. She didn't like the skull or Darth Vader costumes but she was brave enough to hang with the big kids.

This year the theme is cat and we have three cats in the house.

Three Month Old

Kenzie is three month old today.

At the Farm

We go to Cox Farm for the pumpkin festival every year. Mia has grown from a baby in my carrier to a toddler who went down the big slide by herself.

Sisters

Columbus Day, Mia is off. We went to the petting zoo next door. she fed the birds, had a wagon ride and petted a snake. She wasn't afraid of the snake but was afraid of the ferocious sheep and goats that were fighting for feeds.

Sleep Update

Kenzie fell asleep last night at 8 and woke up at 5:30 this morning. It was fantastic. Lately after midnight, she only needed one feeding around 2 and would wake up after 5 again, perfect timing when I go back to work.

I weighed her today. She is 15 lbs for two and half month old. She is now wearing 9 month sleep and play.
