Words

Mia's learned to say I love you in Chinese. She mostly says "ai ni" (love you). The other day, when I said "I love you to her" before I headed out to work, she responded with "xie xie" (thank you).

At a year and half, she's now managed about 60 words. Some are bilingual such as 'moon' and 'car'. Her longest sentences are 'pick me up mama' and 'don't open the door bunny' in Chinese. She can express fear, desire, surprise and regret. It's now much more interesting to interact with her.
