Happy 10th Anniversary

Mike and I celebrated our 10th anniversary today after a chaotic work day with both girls at a restaurant. Full three course meal which Kenzie patient ly sat through and enjoyed her extra treat of some jaw breaking Italian bread. Mike surprised me with a pictureof our ten years down the memory lane.it's very sweet of him.

Kenzie's One Year Checkup

Kenzie had her one year well check today. She's 30 1/4 tall and 20 lbs 11.5 oz. Mia was 32 inches tall and 20 lbs 5 oz at 1 year old She had three shots today, for Hep A because we are going to China in Fall, one for mumps, measles, and something else. She cried when the 1st shot went in but calmed down as soon as I picked her up.

Yesterday she started rejecting bottles. I've trying to wean her. I suppose she felt the upcoming change and started boycotting the treatment. We started her on cow's milk a week ago. She hasn't been taking that well. Her pediatrician did not really have any good suggestion other than me completely weaning her and giving her bottles only. I hope she will get over this phase and happily take milk soon.

Kenzie is one year old today. I didn't take a picture of her before she went to bed. Looking at this little person whose face almost lost all the baby fat, I'm a little sentimental. Where did the time go?

When I got back home today she was screaming for me with excitement and walked a fozen steps from the sun bed all the way to the stair of the kitchen. I love her so very much.

My birthday

My birthday was spent with the girls yesterday at the Mall at the folk festival. China and Kenya were showcased. We had brunch at a seafood restaurant and steak for dinner. Today i made craft with Mia with more shells. It was a relaxing weekend.

We went to Pizzanese to celebrate Mike's birthday. Mia and I shared our pizza custom made.

This morning Mia bit Kenzie on the back without any reason and left teeth marks. Kenzie was shocked and shrieked. She did it yesterday afternoon too. I was beyond furious and "bit" Mia in turn on her arm to show her it feels... she got it. She said sorry to Kenzie. Hours later after dinner, she still remembered and asked me if Kenken still had teeth marks. When I said yes she showed an obvious remorse. I told her Kenzie loved her and she should always love her and protect her. I hope what I did today she will always remember.
